DESCRIBED BY CITY OF AKRON OHIO 1963 (VBM) THE STATION IS ABOUT 3-1/2 MILES SOUTHWEST OF DOWNTOWN AKRON, NEAR THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE HIGHEST PART OF THE ROOF OF THE WALTER J. INNES JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL AT 1999 EAST AVENUE. IT IS 29 FEET EAST OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE ROOF, 4.5 FEET NORTH OF THE SOUTH COPING OF THE ROOF AND IS ABOVE THE GYMNASIUM. THE MARK IS A CITY OF AKRON DISK STAMPED KELLEY SET IN THE TOP OF AN 8 INCH CONCRETE MONUMENT PROJECTING 4 INCHES ABOVE THE ROOF.
