TEMPLE, HEADMASTER, WESTERN RESERVE ACADEMY, HUDSON, OHIO 44236. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JUNCTION OF STATE HIGHWAYS 303 AND 91 IN HUDSON, GO NORTH ON STATE HIGHWAY 91 FOR 0.15 MILE TO A TRAFFIC LIGHT. TURN RIGHT AND GO EAST AND NORTHEAST ON AURORA STREET FOR 0.2 MILE TO THE WESTERN RESERVE ACADEMY AND THE STATION BY THE OBSERVATORY. STATION MARKS ARE STANDARD DISKS STAMPED---HUDSON 1977---. THE SURFACE DISK IS SET IN THE TOP OF A 12-INCH CYLINDRICAL CONCRETE MONUMENT THAT IS FLUSH WITH THE GROUND SURFACE. IT IS 82.5 FEET NORTH-NORTHEAST OF THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF AN OBSERVATORY, 28 FEET NORTHEAST OF A LAMP POLE AND 26 FEET EAST OF A SIDEWALK. THE UNDERGROUND DISK IS SET IN THE TOP OF AN IRREGULAR MASS OF CONCRETE 42 INCHES BELOW THE GROUND SURFACE. REFERENCE MARK 1, STAMPED---HUDSON NO 1 1977---, IS A STANDARD DISK SET IN THE TOP OF A 12-INCH CYLINDRICAL CONCRETE MONUMENT THAT IS FLUSH WITH THE GROUND SURFACE. IT IS 21 FEET NORTH-NORTHEAST OF A LAMP POLE AND 5.5 FEET EAST OF THE SIDEWALK. REFERENCE MARK 2, STAMPED---HUDSON NO 2 1977---, IS A STANDARD DISK SET IN THE TOP OF A 12-INCH CYLINDRICAL CONCRETE MONUMENT THAT IS FLUSH WITH THE GROUND SURFACE. IT IS 29 FEET SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF A 14-INCH OAK TREE, 18.5 FEET NORTH-NORTHEAST OF A FIRE HYDRANT AND 18 FEET EAST OF THE CENTER OF A PAVED STREET. NO SUITABLE LOCATION WAS FOUND FOR AN AZIMUTH MARK.
