DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1977 (JRS) THE STATION IS THE APEX OF VENT ATOP THE HUDSON SOUTHWEST MUNICIPAL WATER TANK. THE TANK HAS A CYLINDRICAL BODY WITH A DOME TOP AND HEMISPHERICAL BOTTOM, SUPPORTED BY EIGHT TUBULAR LEGS. IT IS GRAY IN COLOR AND APPROXIMATELY 150 FEET HIGH. IT IS LOCATED IN THE SOUTHWEST SECTION OF HUDSON, ABOUT 0.5 MILE SOUTHWEST OF THE CENTER OF TOWN, 0.4 MILE WEST OF STATE HIGHWAY 91, 0.25 MILE SOUTH OF STATE HIGHWAY 303, AND 200 FEET EAST OF TRUMBULL DRIVE. BEHIND THE MILFORD CORPORATE CENTER ON MILFORD STREET.
