IT IS 2 FEET SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE SCHOOL, 68 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF COLE AVENUE AND 94 FEET EAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF HAMMEL STREET. THE MARK IS A CITY OF AKRON DISK STAMPED GLOVER ECC SET IN THE TOP OF A 6 INCH SQUARE CONCRETE MONUMENT 4 INCHES BELOW THE SURFACE OF A 3 FOOT SQUARE OF CONCRETE AND COVERED WITH A 9 INCH IRON COVER. RECOVERY NOTE BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1964 AT AKRON, NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF HAMMEL STREET AND COLE AVENUE, NEAR THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE NATHAN L. GLOVER SCHOOL, 81 FEET EAST OF THE EAST CURB OF HAMMEL STREET, 66 1/2 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF COLE STREET, 2.6 FEET SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE SCHOOL, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST 4 INCHES BELOW THE SURFACE OF GROUND ACCESS TO WHICH IS HAD THROUGH A 9 INCH CAST IRON COVER MARKED AKRON SURVEY 1963.
