DESCRIBED BY CITY OF AKRON OHIO 1963 (VBM) THE STATION IS ABOUT 2-1/2 MILES SOUTH OF DOWNTOWN AKRON AND NEAR THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE ROOF OF THE GARFIELD SCHOOL AT 435 NORTH FIRESTONE BOULEVARD. IT IS 11 FEET NORTH OF THE SOUTH COPING OF THE ROOF AND 4.3 FEET WEST OF THE EAST COPING. THE MARK IS A CITY OF AKRON DISK STAMPED GARFIELD SET IN THE TOP OF A 6 INCH CONCRETE MONUMENT PROJECTING 4 INCHES ABOVE THE ROOF.
