DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1983 (CLN) THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 5.5 KM (3.5 MI) SOUTHEAST FROM ADRON, 3.25 KM (2 MI) SOUTHEAST FROM THE AKRON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT AND 2.75 KM (1.75 MI) NORTHEAST FROM THE SMALL VILLAGE OF PORTAGE LAKE. IT IS ON A HILL JUST NORTH FROM THE FIRESTONE COUNTRY CLUB. OWNERSHIP--FIRESTONE COUNTRY CLUB, 452 EAST WARNER ROAD, AKRON, OHIO.
