DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1963 AT AKRON, ALONG WHITE POND DRIVE, ABOUT 0.6 MILE NORTH OF THE JUNCTION OF WHITE POND DRIVE AND STATE HIGHWAY 162 (COPLEY ROAD), IN THE WESTERN PART OF THE CITY, SET ON THE TOP OF THE EAST END OF THE SOUTH CONCRETE ABUTMENT OF A 30-FOOT LONG BRIDGE OVER PIGEON CREEK, 20 FEET EAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF WHITE POND DRIVE AND 1 FOOT ABOVE THE LEVEL OF THE BRIDGE FLOOR. THE SOUTH ABUTMENT HAS BEEN REBUILT AND THIS MONUMENT COULD NOT BE FOUND.
