IT IS A CITY OF AKRON DISK STAMPED CROSS, SET IN THE TOP OF A 6 INCH SQUARE CONCRETE POST THAT IS 4 INCHES UNDER A 3 FOOT SQUARE OF CONCRETE WITH A 23 INCH IRON MANHOLE COVER THAT IS FLUSH WITH THE SURFACE OF THE GROUND. IT IS 90.4 FEET WEST OF A POWER POLE, 66.6 FEET EAST OF A POWER POLE, 13.5 FEET NORTH OF A CYCLONE FENCE, AND 4.4 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTH EDGE OF THE PAVED ROAD. RECOVERY NOTE BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1964 AT AKRON, IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE CITY, ABOUT 0.4 MILE EAST ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 224 (WATERLOO ROAD) FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH SOUTH MAIN STREET, BETWEEN THE HOLY CROSS CEMETERY AND COLONIAL VILLAGE LANES, 24 1/2 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE HIGHWAY, 90 1/2 FEET WEST OF CABLE LINE POLE NO. 83131, 66 1/2 FEET EAST OF CABLE LINE POLE NO. 83114, 13.5 FEET NORTH OF A CYCLONE FENCE ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF THE HOLY CROSS CEMETERY, 4.4 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTH EDGE OF THE HIGHWAY PAVEMENT, SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST 4 INCHES UNDERGROUND ACCESS TO WHICH IS HAD THROUGH A 23 INCH CAST IRON COVER WHICH IS FLUSH WITH THE GROUND.
