IT IS 40.4 FEET NORTH OF THE NORTHWEST LEG OF A STEEL TRANSMISSION TOWER 35.1 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE NORTHEAST LEG OF THE TRANSMISSION TOWER, 224 FEET WEST-NORTHWEST OF THE WEST EDGE OF A SMALL CONCRETE BLOCK SHELTER, AND 20 FEET NORTH OF THE SOUTH EDGE OF THE GOLF COURSE. RECOVERY NOTE BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1964 AT AKRON, AT THE VALLEY VIEW GOLF COURSE, NEAR THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE GOLF COURSE, ABOUT 0.3 MILE WEST ACROSS GOLF COURSE FROM CUYAHOGA STREET, 40.4 FEET NORTH OF THE NORTHWEST LEG OF A STEEL TRANSMISSION TOWER, 224 FEET WEST-NORTHWEST OF THE WEST FACE OF A SMALL CONCRETE BLOCK SHELTER HOUSE, 35.1 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE NORTHEAST LEG OF TOWER, SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST 6 INCHES UNDERGROUND ACCESS TO WHICH IS HAD THROUGH A 9 INCH CAST IRON COVER MARKED AKRON SURVEY 1963.
