DESCRIBED BY SUMMIT COUNTY OHIO 1990 THE STATION IS LOCATED IN SUMMIT COUNTY, OHIO ABOUT 11.84 MILES NORTHWEST OF THE CITY OF AKRON. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE INTERSECTION OF STATE ROUTE 21 AND U.S. HIGHWAY 271 PROCEED WEST ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 271 0.85 MILES TO ITS INTERSECTION WITH STATE ROUTE 176, BROADVIEW ROAD. TURN LEFT AND PROCEED SOUTH ALONG BROADVIEW ROAD 0.21 MILES TO THE STATION ON THE RIGHT IN THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION. THE STATION IS A STANDARD SUMMIT COUNTY BRONZE SURVEY DISK SET IN CONCRETE FLUSH WITH THE GROUND AND STAMPED RI-102. THE STATION IS 37.0 FEET SOUTH FROM THE CENTERLINE OF STATE ROUTE 176 AND 35.0 FEET WEST FROM THE CENTERLINE OF BRECKSVILLE ROAD. THE STATION IS 723.84 METERS FROM STATION RI-106. 2005, 5.0 feet South of Back of Curb, 50.25 feet NW of a Metal Support Pole, 69.85 feet NE of a Light Pole. Additional References 4 feet NNE of the NE anchor bolt of signal pole, 6 feet NNW of the NE corner of concrete 'Traffic' access cover, 18.5 feet West of the back of the north-south curb, 0.6 feet west of metal witness post. NOTE A large steel signal pole has been placed 5 feet SSW of mark - significantly degrading the site for GPS observations.
