IT IS 54.5 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF A BRICK BUILDING, 44.8 FEET WEST OF THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE WEST WING OF A BRICK BUILDING AND 44.8 FEET WEST OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE WEST WING OF THE BRICK BUILDING. THE MARK IS FLUSH AND THE DISK IS STAMPED NESMITH 1951. REFERENCE MARK NO. 1 IS 63.9 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE WEST WING OF THE BRICK BUILDING AND 1 FOOT NORTH OF AN EAST-WEST FENCELINE. THE MARK IS FLUSH AND THE DISK IS STAMPED NESMITH NO 1 1951. REFERENCE MARK NO. 2 IS 28.2 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF A BRICK BUILDING AND 1 FOOT NORTH OF THE EAST-WEST FENCELINE. THE MARK IS FLUSH AND THE DISK IS STAMPED NESMITH NO 2 1951. AZIMUTH MARK IS 29 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER OF A GRAVEL ROAD, 25 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER OF A DRIVEWAY, 14 FEET SOUTHEAST OF A POWERLINE POLE, 2 FEET EAST OF A WHITE WITNESS POST AND 1 FOOT NORTH OF A FENCELINE. THE MARK PROJECTS 2 INCHES AND THE DISK IS STAMPED NESMITH 1951. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JUNCTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY NO. 224 AND STATE HIGHWAY NO. 93 IN THE SOUTH EDGE OF AKRON, GO SOUTH ON STATE HIGHWAY NO. 93 FOR 0.3 MILE TO A BRICK BUILDING ON THE RIGHT AND THE STATION ON THE RIGHT AS DESCRIBED, CONTINUE FOR 0.1 MILE TO A GRAVEL ROAD RIGHT, TURN RIGHT ON GRAVEL ROAD AND GO 0.2 MILE TO A DRIVEWAY ON THE LEFT AND THE AZIMUTH MARK ON THE LEFT. HEIGHT OF LIGHT ABOVE STATION MARK - 30 METERS. RECOVERY NOTE BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1963 (VBM) THE STATION REFERENCE MARKS 1 AND 2 WERE RECOVERED IN GOOD CONDITION. THE AZIMUTH MARK WAS FOUND DESTROYED. THE DISTANCE AND DIRECTION TO REFERENCE MARK 1 CHECKED. THE DISTANCE TO REFERENCE MARK 2 CHECKED BUT THE DIRECTION FAILED TO CHECK BY 1 MINUTE AND 10 SECONDS LOWER THAN THE PREVIOUS MEASUREMENT. THE ORIGINAL TO REACH AND DESCRIPTION IS ADEQUATE.
