IT IS A CITY OF AKRON DISK STAMPED YORK, SET IN THE TOP OF A 6 INCH SQUARE CONCRETE POST THAT IS UNDER A 3 FOOT SQUARE OF CONCRETE WITH A 9 INCH IRON MANHOLE COVER THAT IS FLUSH WITH THE STREET. RECOVERY NOTE BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1964 AT AKRON, AT THE INTERSECTION OF NORTH MAIN AND YORK STREET AND NEAR THE APPROXIMATE CENTER OF THE INTERSECTION, SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST 4 INCHES UNDER THE STREET ACCESS TO WHICH IS HAD THROUGH A 9 INCH CAST IRON COVER MARKED AKRON SURVEY 1963. IN THE CENTER OF A TRAVELED LANE. 2013-IT IS IN A IRON BOX WITH A WATER VALVE LID, 15 FEET SOUTH OF AN IRON BOX AT THE INTERSECTION WITH AN AKRON SURVEY 1961 LID.
