TRAVEL 2.1 MILES WEST ALONG HINES HILL AND THE STATION IS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE STATION IS A ST LOUIS CORPS OF ENGINEERS ALUMINUM MONUMENT SET IN CONCRETE APPROXIMATELY 11.8 FEET NORTH OF THE NORTH EDGE OF HINES HILL APPROXIMATELY 0.2 FEET LOWER THAN ROAD LEVEL. MONUMENT IS STAMPED "K-3 SET 1990". NOTE: STATION IS MARKED BY A CORPS OF ENGINEERS BERNSTEN MONUMENT STAMPED U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY, CORPS OF ENGINEERS, MISSOURI RIVER DIVISION, ST. LOUIS DISTRICT. LAS VEGAS, NV. IT IS 19.46 FEET NW OF A PK NAIL ON THE NW SIDE OF OF A POWER POLE WITH A TRANSFORMER AND THE LAST POLE GOING NORTH ON THE EAST SIDE OF HINES HILL; 45.12 SE OF A PK NAIL ON THE SE SIDE OF A POWER POLE ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE ROAD; 19.14 FEET SOUTH OF A DOUBLE HEAD NAIL IN THE SOUTH SIDE OF A 4" APPLE TREE. MONUMENT HAS BEEN DISTURBED. IT IS MISSING THE DISK.
