IT IS 56 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE CHURCH, 38 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE CHURCH, AND 98 FEET NORTHWEST OF A 48 INCH OAK TREE. IT IS A CITY OF AKRON DISK STAMPED CHAPEL SET IN THE TOP OF A 4 BY 4 INCH CONCRETE POST 4 INCHES BELOW THE SURFACE OF A 3 FOOT SQUARE OF CONCRETE COVERED WITH A 9 INCH IRON COVER. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE INTERSECTION OF TALLMADGE AVENUE AND BRITTAIN ROAD, GO NORTH ON BRITTAIN ROAD FOR 1.0 MILE TO A ROAD FORK. TAKE THE LEFT FORK AND CONTINUE NORTH AND WEST ON SURFACED ROAD FOR 0.1 MILE TO THE CHAPEL HILL CHURCH AND STATION. RECOVERY NOTE BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1964 ABOUT 1.1 MILES EAST ALONG HOWE ROAD FROM ITS CROSSING OF THE BALTIMORE AND OHIO RAILROAD, THENCE 0.15 MILE SOUTH AND EAST ALONG AN OILED ROAD, AT THE CHAPEL HILL CHURCH, 38 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE MOST SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE CHURCH BUILDING, 98 FEET NORTHWEST OF A 48-INCH OAK TREE, 56 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE MOST NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE CHURCH, 140 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF A BLACK TOP ROAD ALONG SOUTH SIDE OF CHURCH, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST 4 INCHES UNDERGROUND ACCESS TO WHICH IS HAD THROUGH A 9-INCH ROUND CAST IRON COVER WHICH IS FLUSH WITH THE GROUND.
