DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1938 1.5 MILES NORTH ALONG THE PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD FROM THE STATION AT MACEDONIA, SUMMIT COUNTY, AT THE BRIDGE OVER LEDGE ROAD, ON THE TOP OF THE SOUTHWEST COPING STONE, 8 FEET WEST OF THE WEST RAIL, 13 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE ROAD, AND ABOUT 8 FEET LOWER THAN THE TRACK. A 2-INCH CHISELED SQUARE, NEAR THE CHISELED LETTERS B.M. RECOVERY NOTE BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1983 NOT RECOVERED, THE SOUTHWEST COPING STONE HAS BEEN CAPPED WITH CONCRETE AND THE MARK WAS PROBABLY DESTROYED.
