IT IS 65.8 FEET NORTH-NORTHEAST OF THE STANDPIPE, 24 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF LONGSTONE AVENUE, 37 FEET WEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF A GRAVELED DRIVEWAY WEST OF AND PARALLEL TO BLACKSTONE AVENUE AND 94 FEET WEST-SOUTHWEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF BLACKSTONE AVENUE AND LONGSTONE AVENUE. THE MARK IS A CITY OF AKRON DISK STAMPED BLACK SET IN AN IRREGULAR MASS OF CONCRETE 4 INCHES BELOW THE SURFACE OF A 3 FOOT SQUARE OF CONCRETE AND COVERED WITH A 2 FOOT IRON COVER. RECOVERY NOTE BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1964 AT AKRON, 0.2 MILE WEST ALONG TALLMADGE AVENUE FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH BRITTAIN ROAD, THENCE 0.1 MILE SOUTH ALONG BLACKSTONE AVENUE, NEAR THE SITE OF THE AKRON MUNICIPAL BLACKSTONE STANDPIPE, 92 FEET SOUTHWEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF BLACKSTONE AVENUE, 27 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF LANGSTONE AVENUE, 65.8 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE CENTER OF THE STANDPIPE, 34 1/2 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF A GRAVELED ROAD JUST EAST OF THE STANDPIPE, SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST 4 INCHES BELOW THE LEVEL OF THE GROUND ACCESS TO WHICH IS HAD THROUGH A 24-INCH CAST IRON MANHOLE COVER.
