DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1964 AT AKRON, IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE CITY, ABOUT 0.6 MILE WEST ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 224 (WATERLOO ROAD) FROM THE INTERSECTION OF SOUTH ARLINGTON STREET, SET ON THE TOP OF THE WEST END OF THE SOUTH CONCRETE HEAD WALL OF AN 8-FOOT BOX CULVERT UNDER THE HIGHWAY FOR A SMALL STREAM, 29 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE HIGHWAY, 4.5 FEET EAST OF THE WEST END OF THE HEAD WALL AND ABOUT LEVEL WITH THE HIGHWAY. NOTE-- THIS MARK WAS RESET BECAUSE OF THE WIDENING PROJECT OF WATERLOO ROAD AND REPLACEMENT OF THE 8-FOOT BOX CULVERT IN THE CREEK.
